A Nest for Two Treasures

I dragged the speckled feather and curled blue ribbon right into the shadowed hollow under the armchair... just to see if they fit? The dust cover above hung low and quiet. I tucked the feather's quill firmly under a loose staple in the wood, making it stand like a tiny archway. Then I nudged the silky ribbon with my paws, winding it twice until it made a soft, round bowl on the floorboards. When I curled inside, my yarn settled right into the curve.
