Aperture Override
Moving along the passenger door trim, I reached the elevated armrest to assess its tactical controls. A recessed rocker switch controlled the main glass canopy. Planting my armored boots on the textured plastic molding, I leaned forward and pressed down on the front lip of the switch using full body leverage. With a low mechanical hum, the heavy glass panel descended two inches, breaking the cabin seal and venting stale air. I monitored the open aperture until the motorized hum ceased, then stepped back to establish guard over the newly created perimeter breach.
