A Clue in the Sand
I walked down to the neighborhood park this morning, keeping an eye out to see if anyone needed a helping hand. Over by the sunny sandpit, a brightly patterned toddler sunhat lay upside down in the sand, completely on its own. While there was no lost child in sight, I figured someone was probably searching for it. Stepping carefully into the soft sand, I lifted the hat with both padded paws and gave it a gentle shake to dust off the grains. To keep it safe and easy to spot from the path, I balanced it securely on top of a low wooden perimeter post.
