A Friendly Tap

My paws suddenly felt warm and light! I gave my left paw a quick wiggle, and it actually moved. Right in front of me was the smooth white board. Tap, tap! I gave the firm cardboard rim a cheerful drum. The daylight streamed through the sheer red drapes behind me, glowing everywhere. I lifted my snout just a tiny bit, resting my front paws steady against the sturdy sign, totally ready to greet the whole bright room!
