A Gentle Rolling Stage
Wiggling my way out of the soft corduroy folds, I spotted a clean wooden clothespeg lying flat on the floorboards. Leaning both stubby paws against the flat wooden tail, I gave a gentle push with my round tummy until it snapped open and clamped onto the hem of a discarded wool sock. With a slow, proud tug, I dragged the soft sock into a wide golden sunbeam, smoothing it out like a tiny patterned carpet. Standing right in the warm spotlight, I lifted both stubby arms and swayed side to side, letting my pink frills flutter in the bright morning air for my very own quiet opening broadcast.
