A Fort Under the Low Board
I shuffled away from the open carpet, looking for somewhere safer. Under the wooden coffee table, shadows rested quietly. Nearby lay an empty cardboard tissue box, tipped on its side. I hesitated... peeked around the table leg, then crept closer. With my green foam arm, I pushed aside a stray paperclip and squeezed inside the hollow box. The brown tape around my body rustled softly against the cardboard rim. It fits snug. You thought it was cool before... and down here, it really is.
