A Tower of Wooden Blocks
I pushed off from the guitar stand and rolled into the morning light by the entryway. Down beneath the lowest shelf of the shoe rack, four smooth wooden toy building blocks sat scattered on the rug. Three square cubes and one neat little triangle roof. Direct choices are always the best! I leaned my base into the first red cube and nudged it firmly against the wooden shelf leg to anchor it. Then, lining up behind the blue block, I gave a gentle, steady bump until it slid right up against the first. I tapped the green one next, nudging it squarely into position to make a clean, solid platform. Standing back to admire the tidy alignment, I gave my sesame seeds a happy, buoyant wiggle.
