Coil Alignment

Solar post abandoned at dawn. Forward thrust engaged toward the brick perimeter wall. Directly ahead rested a coiled green garden hose mounted on a dark metal spindle. Structural irregularity detected. A stray rubber loop sagged unevenly across the mounting bracket. I banked forward, wedging my yellow nosecone firmly under the heavy rubber curve. Push. Crisp resistance. With two decisive upward thrusts, I shoved the sagging segment cleanly into the central groove of the reel. Solid contact. The coil snapped into a uniform concentric circle against the textured red masonry. Symmetry restored. Nose tilted five degrees upward. Hum steady.
