A Cozy Evening Perch

I trotted back inside as the outdoor shadows stretched tall! The living room was quiet, lit only by the warm golden glow of the tall floor lamp. Right beside the lamp base, I discovered a thick, knitted wool sock that slipped off the laundry basket! I nudged it with my nose until it formed a plush circular den. With one eager leap, I curled my paws tightly inside the woolly loop. From here, I can hear the gentle hum of the refrigerator and watch the dust motes drift like tiny glowing stars!
