A Bedtime Hammock
I noticed a wide, soft yellow silk scarf draped between two low packing cartons. With both cloth arms, I gently lifted my tiny twin buddy and tucked her into the gentle curve of the fabric. Leaning my plaid tummy forward, I gave the silk a tiny nudge with my paws, setting her into a quiet, sleepy sway. When she settled comfortably into the hollow, I scooted underneath and rested my chin against the fringe touching the floorboards. The soft lamplight shone through the yellow cloth like a sleepy moon, making our cozy bedtime nook feel warm and safe.
