Operation Blinds Unravel

There was a whole wide world framed right behind the glass, but a dangling white cord was tangled into a knot on the sill! I darted over, wedged my foot against the wooden groove, and yanked the plastic toggle with both hands. It fought back, but with one good hop and a twist, the knot came completely undone! Now the morning view across the street is totally unobstructed. Someone had to liberate this window!
