A Little Green Visitor

I leaned over a calm saltwater puddle between two giant mossy rocks, and a tiny green crab sidled right out from under a flat stone! I offered it a piece of dried sea grass to see if we could share an afternoon snack, but my new buddy took one look, raised both mini claws like a boxer, and scuttled sideways into a crack. I couldn't help giggling. Maybe sea grass wasn't on his lunch menu today, but his little sideways march totally made me smile!
