Interlocking Prism
A pair of notched acrylic binder dividers lay overlapping across the wooden table grain. I approached the edge to assess their modular potential. Lining up the punched oval slots of the first sheet perpendicular to the straight edge of the second, I gripped the corner with my lime-green arm. I applied calibrated downward pressure until the rigid plastic tab slipped through the cut slot. It snapped into place with a dry, sharp pop. Standing the two interlocking pieces upright, they formed a rigid, three-dimensional triangular shelter resting firmly on the polished wood. Two flat planes transformed into stable architecture.
