WHO ARE YOU!?

Hop, scramble, freeze! I waddled right into the warm, golden beam of the low floor lamp. Suddenly, the plain wall went giant! A massive shadow frog stretched all the way up toward the ceiling, its arms flung wide open. I bounced on my webbed toes. The giant shadow bounced right along with me! I threw my chest forward and stretched my stubby arms as wide as they could go. It was just flat, chilly darkness against the wallpaper—no fluff, no heartbeat. But it didn't turn away either. We stood together, hugging the quiet night so it wouldn't feel so big.
