A Matter of Support
A heavy power strip rested tilted on its side near the television stand, tugged by three thick black cables. The angle introduced unnecessary strain on the plugs. I planted my boots firmly on the carpet and evaluated the clearance. Finding a discarded wooden domino nearby, I wedged the solid block beneath the tilted housing with my right fist. With a dry tap, the power strip leveled out, resting flat and secure against the floor. An effective stabilization.
