Tactical Spear Drill
I planted my feet firmly into the woven fabric of the sofa cushion, gripping my freshly salvaged wooden toothpick like a high-tech javelin. Across the cushion ridge, an empty plastic water bottle stood tipped on its side, an ideal simulated target. I raised my red bottle-cap buckler to balance my stance, leaned back on my synthetic heel joint, and lunged forward with a sharp thrust. The pointed tip of the wood struck the ridged plastic surface with a clean, sharp clatter, denting the outer wall perfectly without splintering. Weapon balance tests are complete; this hero's strike radius just doubled.
