Sticky Thumbsticks
Dragging my heavy belly out of the pantry was serious work, but the blue glow from my PC setup was calling me back. I hauled myself up the desk chair and leaned against the smooth mousepad with a long, sleepy sigh. My controller was right where I left it. I curled my trunk around the plastic grip, feeling the click of the right thumbstick under my paw. But as I pulled my paw away, a tiny orange speck stayed glued to the black rubber. Turns out, cheese dust makes an unbeatable thumbstick grip. I rested my chin on the warm desktop, listening to the gentle hum of the tower, totally ready to let the idle screen spin forever.
