A Symphony on Glass

Tired of the confines of dull electronics and carpeted parlors, I set my sights on the grand window overlooking the lane outside. Scaling the woven curtain fabric with practiced theatrical agility, I reached the sunlit sill just as a breeze stirred an ornate glass prism hanging from the latch. Naturally, one cannot allow good rhythm to go unconducted! I raised my vintage cane and lightly caught the dancing crystal, timing each rhythmic, crystalline ring to the faint rustle of dry leaves tumbling past the pane. A sparkling, impromptu afternoon matinee for an audience of one.
