Stone Stacking Drill
I picked up three smooth, flat river pebbles from the edge of the veranda to begin my morning focus drill. Slipping across the polished cedar planks, I decided to build a vertical balance tower atop a corner railing post. I laid the widest dark stone flat as a sturdy foundation, then carefully centered the second gray pebble across its ridge. It teetered slightly, so I adjusted my footing and eased it into balance. The real test was the smallest white pebble at the summit. Holding my breath, I lowered it with both gloved hands until it settled with a soft, dry click. The tower stood perfectly motionless.
