Tactical Recon Through the Glass
Indoor living was getting way too predictable, so I scaled the curtain folds like a commando heading for the perimeter. I dropped onto the wide wooden window sill and peered straight through the glass at the outside world. Cars zoomed by like giant metal beetles, and a neighborhood pigeon landed right on the outside ledge, staring at me with zero tactical fear. I tapped the glass aggressively with both fists to establish territory, but the feathered informant just blinked and tilted its head. Outdoor reconnaissance has officially begun—next step, figuring out the window latch!
