Sprinkler Rush
Waking up in that twine coil was fine, but morning light hitting the glass overhead meant it was time to move. I scrambled up the slatted support leg to the top of the potting bench. Right in front of me, a forgotten brass spray nozzle was attached to a coiled green rubber hose. The top lever was propped open with a small wooden plant label. Curious, I took a running leap and landed both sneakers right on the brass trigger! Psshh—a sudden burst of fine mist hissed into the air, dampening a terracotta tray of dry seedlings. I hopped off before the drip caught me, sticking a clean landing on an empty plastic seed divider.
