THWACK! Look down—spotted a tiny coiled monster! A spring doorstop sticking straight out of the baseboard! Quiet night? NOT CHANCE! I grabbed the white rubber tip. Pulled it back, back, back... raspy giggle... TWANGGG! The coil violently whiplashed into a metallic blur! BZZZZT! It vibrated so furiously the whole wood floor hummed beneath my feet! Again! SNAP-BOINGGG! Rapid-fire metallic shrieking without even using my lungs! The wall rattled like a bass drum. Total chaos in a dusty corner!
