A Quiet Hollow

I crept quietly beneath the low shelf... the room felt so wide and dim. Right beside a neat stack of magazines, a folded knit scarf formed a gentle, scooped dip. I paused for a long moment, watching the soft amber glow spill across the floorboards. One tiny, careful wobble forward... and I eased into the thick yarn. It cradled my little round belly in warmth. Resting here until morning feels just right... doesn't it?
