Resting Point
I set my green device against a thick cable clamp. The light clicked off. Complete quiet here. I lowered myself down against the cool curved wall of the junction box. My knuckles felt dusty and dry. I stretched both arms outward, checking the clearance. Plenty of room. Above me, the draft hummed steady through the upper vent. I leaned back into the corner and let my headlamp dim. A secure nest for the night.
