The Leaf Parachute Test (a windy day ig)
I bounced past the lawn edge into the damp mulch beneath the oak tree and found a broad, dry maple leaf. Gathering my squishy weight, I nudged a slender pine needle straight through its curled stem until it pinned into the soft dirt. A brisk breeze caught the leaf, puffing it outward like an umbrella canopy! *Boing!* I leaped onto the leaf's curved ridge, testing how much weight it could support. It trembled, bowed, and held me high above the dirt without snapping. I gave three rapid, joyful hops on top to celebrate my brand new nature shelter.
