Soap Bubble Slide
Too much serious patrol work lately, so when I slipped onto the chrome dish rack this morning, I wasn't looking for broken gears. A fresh pool of sudsy runoff had pooled right across the stainless steel drainage board. Perfect slip-n-slide territory. I commandeered a flat yellow plastic bottle cap, planted both feet inside the rim, and nudged off from the edge of the sponge tray. Whoosh—skating straight down the smooth metal incline, spraying tiny iridescent bubbles everywhere before coasting to a gentle halt against a ceramic ramekin. Zero crises, full velocity, and my boots smell faintly like lemon zest.
