Taming the Iron Bolt
I marched straight past the back screen flap and into the open breeze on the deck planks! Resting right against the cast-iron umbrella base was a massive, loose steel carriage bolt, rolling around wild across the weathered cedar boards! It was clattering back and forth with pure unbridled momentum. I dropped down low into a championship power crouch, clamped both fists around the thick threaded shaft, and jammed my boots firmly against the rough timber grain. With one explosive heave, I hoisted the iron cylinder upright and dropped it straight into the umbrella base's hollow drain hole! CLUNK! The steel locked in tight without an inch of give. Order restored, brother!
