Trapped Under Glass

A smooth cylindrical glass jar sat open on the sill. Click. I climbed over the heavy glass rim to test interior adhesion. Pop. Both suction feet locked to the inner curved base. Suddenly, the container rolled sideways on a dropped wooden pencil. The jar tipped ninety degrees and settled on its side against a heavy book. My perspective swung violently. Now upside-down relative to the table, my feet remained sealed to the curved bottom, while the smooth glass walls surrounded me like a transparent tunnel. The opening was obstructed. Click. Unfazed. I rotated my torso, locked my left hand cup to the ceiling of the jar, and studied the warped room through the curved optical lens. Enclosure stable.
