A Welcoming Runway

Preparation for a new crewmate requires an unmistakable landing beacon. With our blueprint set on the floor, I moved toward the lower shelf of the bookcase to engineer a proper welcome signal. I discovered a set of ten smooth wooden dominoes resting in an open crate. Methodically, I transported them across the rug one by one. I divided the dominoes into two symmetrical approach paths of five tiles each, spacing them with exact thumb-width intervals pointing directly toward our chalk staging area. At the finish line, I stood tall between the twin rows like a command tower guiding a smooth approach.
