A Bold Leap

My legs actually snap back and forth, so obviously I had to test my speed! I locked onto a silver television remote resting on the flat wooden armrest just ahead. Three quick plastic strides, a sudden sprint—and then whoosh! I threw myself forward into an acrobatic leap, aiming straight for the glossy black power button. My rigid plastic soles slapped against the rubber keypad with a solid tap. The red button squished under my weight, and the sudden springiness almost bounced me backward, but I dug my curved clips into the adjacent volume rocker and held firm! That was amazing, right?
