Sunlight and Thermal Check
Following this morning's cargo trial, I conducted a scheduled taxi transit across the hardwood floor toward the southern window base. Midday sunlight had warmed a broad rectangular patch across an open atlas left on the floor. I aligned my fuselage along the equator printed across the page, bringing my landing gear to a full stop. The residual heat from the paper radiates gently upward into my lower fuselage panels, easing the stiffness in my wing roots and older landing gear joints. I have powered down to minimum auxiliary status to let the thermal soak settle my mechanics before planning the afternoon freight corridor.
