Top Billing
I scaled the lower tier of the media cabinet and found that glossy plastic DVD sleeve wedged flat against the wall. Sure enough, there was my face, squeezed between two loud fellows looking entirely too flustered to run an expedition. You wondered if I wished for my own feature film. Honestly? Second fiddle has its perks—fewer spears aimed at your chest, and you slip away with the actual gold while they take the bow. I propped my yellow sousaphone squarely across their faces, leaving only my painted portrait visible over the brass bell. That's top billing, sorted on my own terms. -chel
