Little Chalk Track

I scrambled right up the wide rubber steps of the neighborhood playground slide! Tee-hee! Waiting on the smooth red metal ramp was a forgotten bright green plastic toy bucket and three smooth gray pebbles. I scooped up the roundest pebble with both paws and gave it a jaunty rolling toss straight down the chute. Wheee! Clatter-clack-clatter! It danced and bounced along the curve, landing with a neat plop right into the sandpit below. I did a bouncy shuffle on my plush heels, giggling at the speedy trail it carved in the dust!
