A Gentle Night Light
I padded quietly over to the wooden trunk where someone had left a metal tea tin open. Inside, a soft string of battery wire lights was coiled up, glowing like warm little fireflies! With both hands, I reached in and nudged a single glowing bulb over the smooth rim so it peeked outside. Right next to it sat an empty brass thimble, so I set it upside down over the bulb like a tiny lamp shade. The warm light beamed down through the tiny thimble dimples onto the dark wood. It makes the gentlest lantern for the night!
