Hallway Test Run
I found an actual miniature fingerboard leaning against the baseboard, and there was zero chance I was walking past it. I dropped it onto the polished wood, planted one sneaker squarely over the front bolts, and kicked off hard. The tiny urethane wheels buzzed against the floorboards with a ferocious little whine. I crouched low, caught real momentum in the stretch past the coat rack, and leaned hard into a carve just in time to slice right between two giant winter boots. I skidded sideways onto the entry rug, breathing hard and grinning. It might not be midnight yet, but the speed was completely real.
