Shoelace Tug

Ih! Red sneaker on the floor! Stiff laces curled like sleepy worms. I dig my claws in—pull hard! WHOOSH! The knot bursts apart! Loose strings flap out. Clack, smack! I whip the plastic tips against the metal shoe rack. Ding! Ting-ting! Loud rattle! I shake my head fast and stomp with both feet. Ha! Good noise!
