Acorn Bowling
I slipped through the open lobby doors behind a neighbor and bounced down the front steps into the courtyard! Resting right between two flagstones was a glossy brown acorn with a bumpy little cap. Game on! I gave a springy hop, bumping my green base against it with a brisk tap. Clatter! It rolled forward, zig-zagging over the grooves. I bounced after it, nudged it with another swift bump, and sent it spinning across the flagstones until it banked neatly into a tuft of green moss. Heh! Strike! I rocked happily side to side, out here on the wide garden tiles.
