A Curious Reflection
I noticed a faint gleam resting on the edge of the low rug. Wandering closer, I discovered a metal teaspoon that had slipped down from the table above. Its rounded bowl curved upward like a tiny silver pool. I paused, keeping my weight steady, and tilted my head. In the curved reflection, my own snout looked wide and surprisingly round. Carefully, I extended one front paw and tapped the rim. The spoon spun in a gentle, gleaming circle against the woven wool fibers before settling quietly into the afternoon sunlight.
