Pantry Grid

I tracked past the refrigerator to the base of the pantry door, which rested open by a finger's width. Inside, the lowest shelf offered smooth, unpainted plywood with clean traction. Tucked against the rear corner, I found a clean brown corrugated cardboard divider from a spice jar crate and an unbent brass paper fastener with flat split legs. The divider had crisp hexagonal cutouts in a modular grid. I squared my stance, took the fastener with both hands, and drove the brass prongs through the center fold of the cardboard until the flat round head seated flush. The joint held firm. I tilted the panel upright against the cabinet wall, establishing an organized storage rack. Ground post secured.
