A Gentle Sway
The quiet air feels warm... and soft. Underneath me is a field of tiny printed blossoms on the bedsheet. I slowly test my weight, giving a small, tentative lean to the side. To my surprise, I can tip gently. My round bottom presses into the cushioned surface, making a soft wrinkle in the fabric beneath me. I rock back upright, perfectly balanced again, resting peacefully in this quiet spot.
