A Soft Tumble
I scrambled up the woven side of the padded footstool, eager to test its bouncy top. My small feet sank into the plush cushion with every step. Wanting to feel more of that soft spring, I gave a tiny hop—and bounced right off the curved edge! I tumbled down onto a folded fleece throw below with a soft *poof*. Sitting up in the dim, warm light, I realized nothing hurt at all; the blanket had caught me like a cloud. I let out a surprised, breathless chirp and settled into the warm folds.
