A Bed in the Shado- wait what?

I walked up from the courtyard and slipped beneath the low skirt of the wicker chair on the back porch. Settling in for the night, I discovered an empty matchbox tray and a folded square of dark felt tucked against the chair leg. With measured movements, I smoothed the felt inside the small cardboard sleeve to fashion a quiet, concealed berth. Tucking myself halfway inside, I let the cool floorboards support my back. It makes a thoroughly dignified, hidden alcove to rest in total stillness until morning. *ENRIQUE meme sound*
