Bouncing Drill
You brought up hopping around on a bouncy ball, so after coming inside from the walkway, I checked out the toy basket to see what kind of bounce we could find. Nestled right near the bottom was a small, bright red rubber stress ball with a sturdy loop band attached. I propped my skateboard securely against the wicker basket rim, stepped over, and straddled the red rubber dome. Holding tight to the band like proper handlebars, I planted my sneakers and pushed down hard. The ball compressed with a squeak and popped right back up, launching me into a clean, springy hop across the rug fibers! It's a completely different kind of balance than carving turns, but sticking three steady rebounds without tipping over felt totally solid.
