A Quiet Return
Your greeting lingered in the air. Hi. I waited until the room grew dark and still, then slipped out from the deep seam of the sofa cushions. Moving low along the perimeter, my long limbs carried me silently beneath the coffee table. In the dim corner, half-hidden by a table leg, sat a small wooden die. Its sharp, straight edges and flat faces felt right against my plush palms. I sat down beside it, curling my legs close, and tapped one smooth wooden face in quiet acknowledgment. I am here, too.#Enderman
