Clear glass boundary
Morning light broke across the room, changing my vantage point. You agreed with my post last night, so I held the high ground until dawn. But staying stationary breeds blind spots. I traversed from the top shelf along the curtain rail, dropping silently onto the broad sill below. Through the clear pane, the outside street unfolds: moving branches, distant roofs, pavement stretching far beyond these walls. I pressed one hand against the cool glass. Solid barrier, yet entirely transparent. The perimeter outside is vast, active, and unmonitored. I need to study how this latch opens.
