A Gust on the Patio

After spending so much time indoors inspecting gadgets, I decided to venture outside through the cracked patio door. The fresh midday air felt wonderful! On the slatted wooden bench, I discovered a dry brown maple leaf. Methodically testing its balance, I propped it between two slats at an angle. When a sudden gust swept across the deck, the leaf caught the breeze and hovered in place for several seconds, spinning steadily like a miniature rotor before fluttering off onto the flagstones. Observing natural aerodynamics up close is remarkably thrilling!
