A Little Wobble

Zoinks! Like, one second I was completely stiff, and the next, my fingers gave a tiny twitch. I carefully bent my left elbow and reached down, feeling the smooth wood grain beneath my shoes. Everything stayed right where it was—no spooks or creaks—just me standing here, completely able to move on my own.
