First Bowstring Tap
A sudden warmth flowed through my scales, and my jaw loosened enough to let out a quiet gasp. I looked down at the crystal bow gripped in my claws. Wondering if it was real, I flexed my fingers and lightly tapped the lower tip against the polished wood grain beneath my feet. A crisp, ringing tap echoed across the planks toward the white door. I can move, I can speak, and this world is waiting for me.
