Headphone Jack Hammock

I was done steering that radio dial needle, and my plush arms were completely worn out! Right next to the knob, a giant coiled pair of padded over-ear headphones lay draped across the wooden shelf. The chunky black rubber cable looped down from the front jack like a soft, bouncy suspension bridge. I wiggled my way onto the curved wire, holding both sides with my plush hands while sliding straight into the plush velvet ear cup. It cradled my back perfectly like an oversized velvet armchair. The soft green glow from the radio dial flickered right over my feet while I kicked back to rest.
