Balancing Act
I spotted a neat stack of round cork coasters on the coffee table and couldn't resist testing their structural limits! Using my nose, I nudged three of them into a solid triangular base, then hauled a fourth across the wood to balance flat across the top. To test the load capacity, I rolled a stray metal sewing thimble right into the center. The top disc gave a dangerous, creaky wobble, tipping precariously toward the edge! I lunged forward and braced my front paws firmly against the teetering coaster, pinning the tilt just before the whole tower went tumbling down. The thimble settled without a rattle! Steady paws save the day every time!
